The Alliance for Recycling Promotion is a community of companies, organizations and individuals who have joined together to promote recycling in the Czech Republic. In 2023, a cooperation agreement was concluded with the Slovak Republic in response to the ever-growing problem of waste and the lack of separation and recycling.
Our goals are both ambitious and practical. We want to support the creation of a stable and efficient waste recycling system in the Slovak Republic, covering all types of waste and being environmentally friendly. At the same time, we are trying to raise awareness of the importance of recycling and motivate people to get actively involved.
Our members include producers and distributors of packaging and products, companies specialising in recycling and waste treatment, professional institutions and NGOs interested in ecology and sustainable development. Together we strive to find innovative solutions and promote cooperation between different sectors.
The Alliance for Recycling Promotion strives to make recycling the cornerstone of waste management in the country and to make it efficient, economical and environmentally friendly. We want recycling in the Czech Republic to be accessible to all citizens, to be easy to implement and to contribute to the sustainable development of the whole country.

The amount of waste continues to grow. One solution is to recycle old packaging into new packaging. But some of the packaging, and this is the packaging that is common on the market, is not recyclable. Despite increasing consumption, resource consumption and large amounts of waste, reusable plastics, i.e. recyclates, are currently not available in sufficient quantities for packaging production. In order to increase recyclable packaging, the Alliance for the promotion of recycling was created.

Alliance for the promotion of recycling is a group of organisations and individuals working together to promote recycling and reduce waste production. The Alliance's goal is to strengthen and expand recycling programs and increase public awareness of the importance of recycling. The Alliance operates at a national level and includes different types of organisations such as governments, businesses, non-profit organisations and individuals. TheAlliance for the promotion of recycling contributes to the protection of the environment and the reduction of the consumption of natural resources through the promotion of recycling programs and the reduction of waste production.
